An almost life-long musician (for 54 years now), I've pieced together my own personal recording studio and have a quite few projects in the works, some of which I've posted here. This is the story.

I began playing bass guitar at age 14 (we don't need to talk about 4th - 6th grade clarinet, do we?). After a while I figured out that I was not going to be a great bassist. I was okay with very basic root note stuff, but that's where my progression stalled. However, from that period, I did come out with two important finds ;

A.) A good understanding of musical structure and how chord progressions create feel, and
B.) That I was better off with a stick in each hand, hitting things.

So that's what I did.

After 20+ years of drumming in live settings (largely cover bands, although I was a member of the band 113 that recorded and produced an album back in 1987), I've since developed a need to try my hand at producing things of my own, on my terms, and from my head. Drawing from things that influenced me over the years. If you've listened to some of my stuff, you've probably figured out that it could get freaky weird. I have a very diverse interest in vastly different aural presentations, including music.

I took on the enormous task of teaching myself piano and synths. I was no stranger to them, but I wasn't proficient at either. Between work, family, and gigging, there was never enough hours in the day to devote to it. However, since I'm officially retired from my real-world job, I'm putting in the hours and I'm much improved, feeling ready to take the next step.

That next step is to apply my years of experience to producing audio tracks for videos, movies, podcasts, video games, etc. I can tailor my work to whatever you need, and will try my hardest to fit your needs. These may or may not include sounds of a musical nature. I don't write "songs" with lyrics, although I could build something around your written lyrics. I enjoy producing instrumental pieces, special effects sounds, audio for scene transitions, or background audio for opening or closing credit rolls and the like. Some of my posts here that I see as these shorter type of intro pieces or credit rolls are approximately 1-2 minutes long, but can be modified upon request, or download them and make your own edits.
