This piece gives off a very pensive feel. A mind that is rationalizing circumstances to choose a course, one of many. Any of which could be either gloriously, or tragically, life-changing.
There are staccato strings over a somber, rhythmic flow that give it a somewhat disjunctive feel as they follow the flow, as intermittent wah-wah effects portray extraneous considerations.
The instability of circumstance versus the persistence of goal.
I can see this as a game menu soundtrack, as it can be used as a loop. I can also see this as film scene background or credit roll.
I continue to work this and on other pieces, and MGS-produced versions of them will be put up on the upcoming MGSTUDIO.ORG website (free, w/donations appreciated) along with other works I have in-process.
Of course, you are free to use this as you see fit, in whole or in part. Overdub your own tracks to it. All I ask is that you add Mad Gravity Studio to your work as a contributor. I'd love to hear what you can do with it.
Please make an old guy happy today, okay?

Right on, nicely done MGS, I was surprised you did this one cczero, it could just as easily get used commercially. I'm always into shuffled syncopation, and I like your use of non-quantized notes. This has a very organic, accessible feel to it.
