Recording of a variety of pieces of wood falling onto other pieces of wood. This one is somewhat muted and odd-sounding, almost like a single piece sort of spun around just a bit before settling down. So it has a kinds of spin-down feel to it, almost like a wheel coming to a stop. Was originally recorded for smashing sound effects for a radio theater play. Cannot remember the mic used, perhaps SM-58, or a small diaphragm condenser; but it probably went through a Sytek pre into a Gadget Labs Wav824 interface.
