Similitude of a few singers and unidentifiable instruments performing an odd tune. Compared to earlier uploads, this one adds something akin to bowed double bass and maybe a bit of violin here and there, has a cleaner reverb, etc., but it still has some places where one of the filters seems to have been overdriven a little (resulting in a small amount of distortion in one of the vocal lines). This is output from an Analog Box circuit I built. This isn't likely to all that useful to anyone except perhaps as inspiration. The circuit uses a mode of a harmonic minor, typically the 2nd or the 5th. Totally synthetic sounds created in Analog Box but finalized in Cool Edit Pro.

I downloaded and starting messing with Analog box and it's tutorials the same day I found this sound, but didn't actually take a good look at the page to see the comunnity posts :S. It's really cool, it's nice that you can mess low-level with the signal. I'll look for your patches and try to learn from them. Thank you so much! :D

I used Analog Box for the sound, but then used Cool Edit Pro to do some post-processing to prepare it for use here. Copy and paste to browse there, read about it, download it, etc., get the examples and tutorials, work through them if you wish, etc.
While many people prefer to use older VST plug-ins with their analog box circuits (for such things as reverb), I prefer to create my own sub-circuits in Analog Box to do the job (especially reverb :-)). Despite being rather small in number, the community of Analog Box users is rather generous about sharing circuits, and I even posted to the group mailing list (years ago) one of the versions of the circuit used to make this (probably called ChoirBotN, where N keeps increasing as I make major modifications to the circuit -- I can't remember which one I used to make this particular sound).
