My first recording of 2011. Waves coming to shore on the coast of Oregon. To the left is a large open beach, to the right a rock cliff, to the front, the Pacific. At about 30 seconds in, there is a large wave that comes very close to my feet and as the wave receded all the popping bubbles sound like static. Recorded with AT4021 microphones into a modified Marantz PMD661.

One of the greatest sea recordings I ever heard, and I heard dozens of. Either you are so talented or you have very nice hardware, but I guess - both ;-)
