i have not heard that sound for many years. as a boy, i used to play along a rural railroad line that paralleled a small creek. at times, other small creeks would join in from the other side, running through 3-foot culverts. in those days, i was small enough to walk inside. it was fun yelling and listening to the reverberation. especially the time i screwed up enough courage to do that when the train ran overhead. but many times, i hear this reverberating, musical running water. thanks for the flashback.
