Similar to a sound of a hammer clicking to indicate that there is no ammunition chambered in the gun. Made from manipulation of the springs of a rusting stapler held back slowly then rate manipulated and pitch-shifted.
Application of this sound could be for first person shooters weapons such as pistols or any general mechanical weaponry.
