This was recorded late at night inside Pine forest. No Nightjars now, just a soft cricket chorus, some mosquitoes, and a distant owl (you have to listen carefully).Rode NT4 > Shure FP24 > iRiver H120(rockbox). The site was so quiet that I had to crank up the mic pre.

I'm not 100% sure, but this sounds exactly like the intro to Wolves In The Throne Room's song, "Dia Artio." Very cool!
