This was recorded late at night inside Pine forest. No Nightjars now, just a soft cricket chorus, some mosquitoes, and a distant owl (you have to listen carefully).Rode NT4 > Shure FP24 > iRiver H120(rockbox). The site was so quiet that I had to crank up the mic pre.

Cool! I have heard those crickets in real. They are not very loud. I had never heard crickets before I visited south-spain, but I had read something about them and their sounds. In the first time I tried to listen to them they were very quiet, though it was a humid and warm night. Anyways, the soundfile here is very good and with a very good quality indeed!!! :D
