This was recorded late at night inside Pine forest. No Nightjars now, just a soft cricket chorus, some mosquitoes, and a distant owl (you have to listen carefully).Rode NT4 > Shure FP24 > iRiver H120(rockbox). The site was so quiet that I had to crank up the mic pre.

I live in a "cricket area" but it's the wrong season to record them...this effect is very realistic.
