Studio recordings of handling a small metal mechanical device for foley purposes.
Originally used to foley handling sounds of a tattoo machine, but could also be used for guns, surgical instruments etc.
Recorded with an AT-4047/SV large-diaphragm condenser mic.
In this clip, I am sliding back an adjustment screw across a groove while holding a little container of bolts, making the sound a little more massive.
