burned it to cd, and played it on the speakers over my bed, SWEET! it has enough bass to drowned out the footsteps on the hardwood floor above, but not so much bass that it will keep us awake, it has extremely soft white noise, very nice, the other sound machine we had was very sharp, like static a bit distracting.
i'm so happy its free. but with all the work you put in freesound is not really the place people are looking for something like this. if you post around to some forums where people are having the same problem as me, or places that people are looking for this specifically you will have a lot of success. i've used a lot of white noise machine sounds and this is really up there in quality. good work! thanks!
