In response to your question..."Could you recommend a place for me to post this so people in the same situation as you can enjoy this?" I would suggest posting a link to your sample on forums where folks suffering from (keywords) INFRASOUND or HUM are discussing ways to mask or moderate the international phenomenon.
Here in Christchurch I think (but can't be sure) that our recently manifesting infrasound is a tectonic phenomena. For what it's worth. Again, thank you for crafting your soft sound sample. Roger B New Zealand.

Your soft noise have saved my sleep, sanity and allowed me to stall or stop the sale of my house & art studio! I live in Christchurch New Zealand where for two years + we endured 2 major quakes and literally thousands of aftershocks. Following those tectonic events there is a massive amount of noise from demolition, construction and roadworks. The worst of the noise is an extremely low frequency HUM that modulates in ways that drive me bats at night when trying to sleep. I've had my bedroom sound-dampened at great cost, slept with earplugs & and sound cancelling headphones and muffs and have sampled a variety of masking sounds. Most of the masking sounds (nature, brown-noise, new age-y drones) had characteristics that kept me aware and awake and left me feeling rubbed raw in the morning.Last night I was fossicking around the Net looking for sound samples and ran across your soft sound mp3. As soon as I turned it on I had a palpable sense of relief. The low frequency background noise disappeared and I experienced your soft sound as a sort of 'not-there' phenomenon. I slept all night through without interruption and I feel fresh this morning. I'm now going to try it during the day while I am painting in the studio, writing or reading....times I don't want the distraction of music. I can't thank you enough for painstakingly crafting the sound sample that has (for the time being) rescued me from constant irritation and sleeplessness. With Gratitude Roger B in New Zealand
