PLEASE:- 1) Download the file, don't try the test using the Freesound preview. 2) You need a decent quality sound card/interface or you may well be hearing false sub-harmonics at the top end of the test.

No problem hearing everything up to 17 KHz, but I do think its a speakerproblem (cheap creative's) as an official hearingtest proved to me my hearing is close to perfect.

wow reading these comments makes me feel bad, im 20 and i can only hear up to about 14/15khz. i think i'll have the volume lower when writing music from now on.

strange...17kHz is the first one I can't hear! i'm only 15...I should be able to hear the rest...maybe it's a problem with my headphones. I can hear when tvs are turned on and such.
