Tones created in Cool Edit Pro. PLEASE:- 1) Download the file, don't try the test using the Freesound preview. 2) You need a decent quality sound card/interface or you may well be hearing false sub-harmonics at the top end of the test.

I stop at 16 KHZ, can't hear a thing afterwards. :)

I can hear to 11 KHz, with the volume wound well up. On a low-fi m/b sound interface, I hear erroneous sub-harmomics from around 14 KHz up. Using my Edirol UA-1ex USB sound interface, there is (for me) absolute silence from 12 KHz up (just a glitch when the tone ends). So it's a useful test of the quality of the sound interface, too. I'm using HD-25 headphones in both cases.

Great Test! I can hear only until 14 KHZ :(! The rest is an ambient beep for me, I hear it but I can't say I hear a high noise, I only notice something is beeping in my ear:P!
