January 30, 2014. A major ice storm moves in to the East Coast of the United States. Sitting in a small cabin in the woods of North Carolina, the sound of ice particles (sleet) hitting a stove-pipe can be heard. It's cold. It's bleak. The power has just cut off. Sitting on the floor with a Zoom H4N, I recorded the soundscape.
Enjoy!

Love this. Great recording and the kind of thing most people forget about when trying to portray a winter storm from inside a building. Great work!
