On deck aboard a Baltic Sea car ferry bound from Rostock/Germany to Trelleborg/Sweden. It is late evening, and the ferry is about to depart the harbor. In the beginning, the winches are noisily pulling in the mooring cables into compartments beneath the recorder. A PA system starts conveying safety messages in swedisch, english, german and russian.
Recorded with a Zoom H2N. These are the FRONT channels of a 4ch surround recording. Mics set to 90° dispersion.
