'Krulbollen' is a traditional sport mainly played in the region 'Meetjesland' in East-Flanders. It is played by rolling heavy discs towards a stake. The disc lying closest to the stake wins the game. The rolling, throwing and bouncing of the discs make typical clashing and ticking sounds. The top of the floor consist of a layer of fine gravel that has been sprinkled with water. This gives the rolling of the disc a nice and crispy sound.
