aifoon investigates into the art of listening in an active manner. Our organization is an open and creative laboratory that figures out in what ways sound is part of our environment and how listening manifests in it. aifoon works project-based and develops performances, training sessions and audits in which we seek for new answers, time and time again, to questions such as: How does sound resonate with people, in a literal sense as well as metaphorically? What can we do to achieve a harmonious acoustic ecology? Can you paint a sound poem on a canvas of silence?

We’re an art educational organization that challenges people to follow sound trails by listening consciously, by scanning their sound environment and by dwelling upon what sound provokes within them. aifoon teases people to appear as sound listeners, composers and performers. www.aifoon.org
