Crickets and grasshoppers making noise with a tractor lawnmower entering the soundscape after a while. Nice contrast between these two elements. Notice how the cricket stops because the temperature dropped and the grasshoppers continue, like sonars.
This recording was made with a Sanken CS3-e shotgun mic on a Roland R-26 in the afternoon of 14th of July 2014 in Desteldonk (Ghent). Editing was done in Reaper. No compression has been applied.
