Rodolfo Kusch planteaba la cultura como un poblar de signos y símbolos el mundo para lograr el domicilio existencial. Podríamos pensar el acto de escucha
como un sembrar símbolos.
El asunto no sería ir hacia la captura de las imágenes acústicas del mundo. No se trata de capturar en un registro el objeto para poder decir algo, sino de cumplir con nuestra parte del pacto arrojando la semilla para que la contingencia haga lo suyo y madure el fruto en el que tenemos lugar el paisaje y nosotros , la obra y el artista, lo escuchado y quien escucha.

Cuando salimos a grabar sembramos paisaje, hacemos surcos, no damos forma a lo amorfo ni capturamos ninguna materialidad, sino mas bien abrimos una negatividad para que en ella quepa la posibilidad de darse un paisaje al ser actualizado en la escucha. Cuando grabamos dejamos una marca, una letra para instalar el texto del propio paisaje.
En la noche siempre somos intrusos. Instalarnos en su escucha para constituirla paisaje es un intento conjuratorio de nuestra extrangeridad interior que en ella encuentra su lugar. Instalar el paisaje de la noche es habitarla.

Notas técnicas: La "des-grabación" del paisaje natural ofrecía a la audición una textura de alta densidad de caracteristicas Lo-FI y una amplitud de campo plana sin figuras ni elementos que se distingan claramente del fondo de preponderantes características estáticas y continuas. En el estudio, mediante filtrado con ecualización, el paisaje madurado en la escucha fue presentando las "keynotes" particulares del lugar que lo componen-iguamente en un continuo- ahora en un paisaje con amplitud de fondo en el que pueden distinguirse claramente sus capas y algunas leves figuras. Las capas están compuestas, en términos generales, por el sonido de fondo lejano del Río de la Plata, el crepitar de la vegetación por la acción del viento y el canto de aves y por sobre éstas de un modo mas intenso la insistente presencia de insectos nocturnos. Las capas conforman claras regiones del espectro el cual es recortado por algunos ocasionales impulsos.

Technical Notes: The "des-recording" of the natural landscape offered hearing a textured high-density features Lo-Fi and flat-field amplitude without figures or elements that are clearly distinguishable from the background of prevailing static and continuous features. The study, by filtering with EQ, landscape matured in listening was presenting the "keynotes" component-also in a continuous-now a landscape background amplitude which can be clearly distinguished its layers and some minor figures. The layers are composed, in general, by the sound of distant background of the Río de la Plata, the crackle of vegetation by the wind and the chirping of birds and above them a more intense way the insistent presence of insects night. The layers comprise clear regions of the spectrum which is trimmed by occasional pulses.
