Now this is one of my favourite recordings.
This is a true binaural recording of a steam locomotive arriving at Tan-Y-Bwlch railway station on the Ffestiniog steam railway in west Wales, UK.
The train whistles as it approaches and then passes by my position before coming to a halt. The railway guard also walks past asking for tickets and then shouts the station name as the train stops.
It was a calm and dry day, giving perfect recording conditions as the 18:10 to Porthmadog passed.

This is a nice recording and I like it a lot but I am not seeing any real advantage of Binaural over a good ORTF setup.
