Recording of frozen lettuce being cut, so the severance is relatively quick. May have some proximity effect that will require some EQ to taste. Originally recorded as part of a set intended to provide bone-crunch types of fight sounds for a radio theater play, but may or may not have been used. Condenser mic / Sytek pre-amp / Gadget Labs Wav824 interface.

I wouldn't have guessed anyone might use it that way, but if you break out the knocks from the splash, I can see how it might be useful for layering.
