Part of a series of portal sound effects created for a radio theater fantasy series. This is the sound added to the continuous portal sound to create an end to that loop. The continuous sound is in my "backgrounds" pack.

Screw 1 star, this is a 5 star. I'm sold simply from the pops and fun sci-fi appeal. This adds in with your other similar background ambiance noises (at least that's what I'm using it for).

Heh heh, the first rating is only 1 star. I suppose that's because the producer wanted this to have a bit of a comical effect (in the radio play, the "broken portal" and "portal mechanics" were a bit of comic relief). As a result, I put a squeaky-toy noise and some lip pops into the composition. I suppose as a result this one is not suitable for a more serious application. :-)
