TyTBone: thank you. At last someone defends FLAC. I get only people complaining about FLAC all the time, not wanting to learn anything or search what is it. I post everything in FLAC, because it is a fantastic format and the cost of using my sounds is to learn about it (and attribute my work too). That's why I will (almost) never upload my sounds in other formats.
Also: any open-source audio software package like Audacity or Ardour supports FLAC out-of-the-box so this is my way of promoting community-driven solutions too.
You might hate me for it, but you might also learn something and step up your audio game, folks!

People whining about the format should research how to convert.
