The Polson #2 steam engine built in 1912 pulls out of the station pulling some passenger cars behind it. The whistle is quite loud and it blows a few times as it crosses a couple of roads as it moves into the distance. Crossing bells and urban traffic can be heard as well as people watching the train.

It's sooo nice to hear this kind of clip! I was checking for train sounds here, and everything is about electric trains which are too smooth with their sounds. It's so hard to find the old train sounds nowadays. Thank you for recording this. So nostalgic!
