**somehow only this small chunk of a 1 hour recording made it through processing for some reason**
A protest to commemorate a year since George Floyd was murdered by police. A year of inaction by leaders in Portland and nationally to address how terrible police are. No good cops. Black lives matter.
This recording begins with a peaceful crowd being confronted by the very violent Portland police, they eventually retreat after people stand ground against them. After that people decide to march around downtown portland. At the end I let the march pass by and it is clear how, contrary to the current narrative of these protests being everywhere and destroying everything, it becomes so quiet and calm.
