In the middle of the summer protests against the absurd police brutality towards people of color continued in Portland. By this point the federal government had joined in sweeping people off the streets into unmarked vans and other terrorist tactics. During all this the mayor of Portland who is also the police commissioner was nowhere to be found. Finally, finally he showed up to address the city. Shortly after this recording was made the federal agents teargassed the mayor along with everyone else. To this day he has done nothing to assert change towards the abhorrent behavior of the police.
