Here's the original version of the Mosquito device that's designed to repel teenagers from shops and streets. If you're over 25 you won;t hear anything but the street sounds and a girl laughing. If you're under 25 then you might hear a rather nasty high pitched siren sound... Terrible quality (MP3) recording but interesting to know just how much sound isn't heard. Just because you can't hear it doesn't mean it isn't there.

I'm 16 and It just sounds like a quiet high-pitch sine; It's not annoying at all.

I cant hear it in the flash, but if i download it, i can hear it perfectly. I'm 15.

It is there... Download it, bring the pitch down a few semitones and listen again. And if you can hear it already... well the good news is some people's hearing stays good at high frequencies. You're a lucky lucky person. Enjoy the audio luxury you have!

You should post it as a flac file. I think mp3 adds some artefacts. I can hear it when converted to wav, and I'm over 33 ;)

Sorry but it's actually NOT there. I can hear this sound normally ( I have it on my computer at 16500Hz)but I didn't hear it in your recording.
