Drop (death)- plate armor. Recorded using 2x Shure SM-57's in a studio environment.
The armor used was a suit of home-made reconstruction Lorica Segmentata, standard issue of the Roman Army in the 1st-3rd centuries CE roughly. The plates are slightly thinner than the actual armor, but it provides a relatively close sound.
