Recording of an actual explosion in the Vale Of Belvoir, Leicestershire UK, in about 1988. There was a thick fog at the time which added a very pleasing natural reverb effect. The explosive device was a small steel cylinder filled with black powder and placed under a fallen tree. This source was captured using a Phillips cassette recorder and digitised some years later.
