Sound recording of thunder during a thunderstorm. Recorded on the second, attic floor of my country frame house. Before this, I made several sound recordings outside (you can find one of them in the link below). The walls and roof are insulated with mineral wool insulation, with a total thickness of 150mm. This was the strongest and longest thunderstorm I have personally heard or seen. Lasting for about an hour, it rumbled incessantly. This is a recording of the ending, when the thunderstorm begins to move away, but the regularity of the thunderclaps remains. The rain has already weakened very much, so its pattering on the roof is practically inaudible in the recording. You can hear the faint sounds of the TV sometimes coming from the ground floor of the house.
Recorded August 03, 2021 on Tascam DR-05x, with post processing.
Location: Russia, near the city of Ekaterinburg.
