The sound of my beating heart...XY microphone pressed to my heart during a bit of a sprint and some weightlifting. One change that was done was low-pass filtering (chebyshev) to isolate it to lower frequency responses then amplified, giving it a characteristic bass. I refer to the sound as "Dumpf-Dumpf" as a phonetic reminder.
The horrors of...cardiovascular exercise! Intended as a tension sound effect.
Note: Listen with headphones or basswoofers as small speakers are unable to represent the frequency response in which to hear the sample.
