On the balcony, at our apartment in Podgorica, Montenegro; around 5pm, an hour after sunset; with the shotgun, Sennheiser MKH 416 microphone, pointed out over the roofs.
It's a very quite evening, just after New Years, and you can hear a few holiday firecrackers, or petarda.
