Thursday, October 30, 2008 @ 17:00: Mechanical grand-father clock; Five o-clock chime. Clock built by my Grandfather in 1974-1975. Chime is the standard 'Westminster Chimes' as heard on Big Ben. Left some ticking as well for interest, and one can clearly hear the mechanism switching between chime mode and regular as well as the weights lowering while playing the tune. Recording gear: Zoom H2 @ 44.1K/16bit using 90 degree stereo mode.
