Recordings of a Cub Cadet XT1 riding lawn mower. The mower has a single cylinder gasoline engine and two blades which will mow a 42" wide strip. The Power Take-Off (PTO) is engaged manually with a lever. A second lever lowers and raises the cutting deck. The mower has an electric starter and a brake that can be locked as a parking brake.
These sounds were recorded with a Josephson C700S sound field microphone, placed at the side of the mower. The three channel B format recordings were encoded to DIN stereo using Harpex.
