Kansas City street sound (circa 2001-2005)
I was working at the KC convention center mixing FOH sound for a client's event and was asked to record some S/FX for the video team. I recall borrowing a pair of SM58s (not my favorite mic for S/FX) and had my Shure FP32 field production mixer with me. Probably recorded to my portable DAT or Minidisc which I had at that time. There is a 'slight' change of sound at the loop point of this clip, but would likely not be noticeable as a background atmosphere S/FX. Otherwise a one or two second cross-fade would be recommended.
