Eating ''great pond snail'' (Lymnaea stagnalis) in a pond in Holland during summer.

I dropped the mic in front of the snail and he thought that could be a great place to eat on. That's why the sound becomes louder during the recording. I'm a lucky boy.
The ticking noise are small gas-bubbles coming out of the plant, cused by the sunlight I guess. The other bubble sound that sounds like flowing water is from the surrounding plants.

Really interesting! I have been searching for recordings of the snail radula for a couple of years, and this is the first one I have found.
It would be nice to make recordings from different species of nsail and slug eating. Maybe one could rig a microphone pick-up to do it. The first challenge would of course be to make the creatures try and eat it.
You were lucky indeed! Congratulations!
