Here's my first field recording and first upload on here.
I recorded my friend's fireplace in his apartment for a theater production through my college for which I was the sound designer and sound board operator.
I used a Zoom Q3HD with its built-in stereo XY microphones at about a foot or so away from the fire (on the bricks directly encasing the fireplace) with some make-shift baffling around the fireplace (safe, I know).
This track is an edited version, a sort of "best of".

This I hope is the sound that the owner of the project is looking for. If it is approved to be used in the track, it will be referenced in the score, with your share link attached in the liner notes. You'll know if you'll see a back-track link to https://geoffreyschumann.com/film-tv-scores/

Hey, perfect for what I wanted, a fire burning steadily. Love it.
I used the sound as part of a collage serving as the background to an extended Pianet performance of Mbira music - https://soundcloud.com/ivodne-galatea/sets/the-permanent-way-out-of-africa-vol-4
