While returning from my trip to Wales, minutes before landing this announcement sounded through the cabin of this Ryanair flight. I was amused by the fact that otherwise very cute and helpful cabin crew girls pointed specially out, after a slight hesitation all the kindles. Thanks for this. I'm remixing a friends song about 'Coming Home' by plane to his wife and kids after working away for the week. This is a perfect piece for him arriving 'Home' Many thanks :)

As a flight attendant, I can tell you it's because people don't see their eReaders as electronic devices. If we don't inform passengers ahead of time, we often get people arguing that it's "not electronic". (Basic rule of thumb; if it has an on/off switch, it's electronic)
Anyways, thanks for posting this. It may just prove very helpful for a video title I'm putting together.
