This is the old lighthouse fog bell at Swallowtail Lighthouse on Grand Manan island, New Brunswick, Canada.
This recording contains three strikes: twice at the bottom of the bell (harder then lighter) and once halfway up the bell. A five-pound steel hammer was used to strike the bell (by hand).
Recorded with a Zoom H2, mp3, 320kbps, AGC off, low mic sensitivity, front mic pair, about 1m from bell.
