Soundscape of an enfolding air raid on a doomed city, period around World War II, from some distance from the city itself.
In the onset, the listener stands on a windy heath, and hears the air-raid sirens in the distance. Then come the bombers (propeller planes!), supposedly Lancasters or so, passing overhead toward their target...
I did this for a TV documentary, however I kept all rights and, as usual, you may use it free of charge and attribution. Enjoy.

THX man!. I'm using it for a short doco project made with college students about a spanish guy who survived the spanish civil war, then WWII, then Algeria... Just needed a few sounds to bring his testimony to life...
