The narrow streets of the Barceloneta neighborhood create interesting reverberations. In this recording an opera singers enjoys a little practice while waiting for someone in the street. In the background, a variety of street sounds, including voices, a dog barking, a van passing (accompanied by more intense vocalizations) and cutlery sound from the nearby bars and restaurants getting ready to open for the midday shift. During this phase of Covid restrictions, restaurants and bars can only open from 1 to 3 pm. Recorded on February 26, 2021 at 12:40 pm.
