Part of bass riff used in "Do it now" http://soundcloud.com/basher-sounds/do-it-now-now. The sound was generated by the XG synth on a Yamaha SW1000 sound card using the "Dim cool" patch.
The riff works around A major 7, A# major 7 and E chords. I think it has a threatening, tense feel to it.
