Tom says: This Ambient Pad is versatile in that it can be used to suggest feelings of awe, wonder, suspense and impending doom depending on how it’s used harmonically and melodically. Low registers have a top end ‘hiss’ from the slowed down fishing-rod-swish-swoosh samples that gives the start of the sound more definition and ‘air’. I had fun making this sound, but it took forever to tune all the samples to a central pitch. Blends well with strings, brass, waterphone, cinematic swells.
