This loop is a switch from my some of my recent postings, as it gets back to a darker, more haunting theme.
Umbra /ŭm′brə/ (noun)
A dark area, especially the blackest part of a shadow from which all light is cut off.
The completely dark central portion of the shadow cast by the earth, moon, or other body during an eclipse.
(per The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition)
A low synth drone along with primitive sounding percussion leads you in. Haunting vocals intone a sullen melody as you sink deeper into the dark unknown.
As always, recorded in Audacity. Roland TD17 drums, along with the MX49 for the synth tracks and the P90 for the voices. Synchron Stage Reverb added space.
This would be an excellent track for a game menu, or as the background track for your video or podcast.
I continue to work on this and other pieces, and MGS-produced full versions of them will be uploaded to the MGSTUDIO.ORG website along with other works that are available now or currently in process to be made available commercially. Of course, you are free to use this version as you see fit, in whole or in part. Overdub your own tracks to it. All I ask is that you add Mad Gravity Studio to your work as a contributor. I'd love to hear what you can do with it.
If you would like update info for new releases, please click FOLLOW, and I will message you when I post new material and it becomes available for download. I also promise I will only contact you about new releases, or in response to messages received. You will not be bombarded with B.S.
PS.
If you prefer a different format of any of my tracks, message me and I will post it for you.

nice... though put the parallel sounds (so those which are apart from the base/ritme-sounds) about 10% higher in volume.. but not too high because it might sound irritating in the high-frequences... so the emphasis is not too strong on "just" the ritme-base-line-sounds...
because for sure the beginning till beyond the mid have many very nice subsounds wich deserve more adoration
ya understand ?

Oh, yeah. Nicely dark and polished. Well balanced and cohesive with the environment it underscores. I like the emphasis on the subs for the rhythm, and I think my favorite part is the choir sound.
