This loop brings a feeling similar to the soundtrack in the 1960 Alfred Hitchcock thriller "PSYCHO". By today's standards for films (sans the CGI), it is very dated, but still very creepy. A truly groundbreaking movie - see it if you haven't. Then see if you can take a shower ever again.
This track would fit right in with that genre, as it gives an anxious and frantic feel. Like running in fear from something, not knowing how to escape, and your paranoia keeps you running.
Opening with a somewhat chaotic but rhythmic (can it be both?) piano, violas supply the tense ostinato on the bottom as pizzicato violins amplify the tension over the top.
Recorded in Audacity on four tracks, all sounds are from the MX49. I've added reverb using the VST3 Synchron Stage Reverb SO (available thru Focusrite with your account). Amazing verb!
