Coronach (pronounced "kor-o-nosh"), is a synonym for "dirge". This generally describes a funeral song or a death march. Needless to say, this piece gives off a very somber aura.
In the beginning, piano and cello introduce a sense of sadness and hopelessness, as if you are coming to terms with the inevitable end.
When the strings enter, they bring a somewhat lighter sense, however the somber feel is still present, as if unchangeable and absolute.
The end section carries the overall feel, but adds supportive instrumentation and choir voices, encouraging the strength of spirit to move on, although longing to remain.
This is my feel, but you might have a different interpretation. I can see this as credit roll audio, film scene score, or game menu music.
I continue to work this and on other pieces, and MGS-produced versions of them will be put up on MGSTUDIO.ORG along with other works I have in-process that will not be posted here, but be available commercially. Of course, you are free to use this as you see fit, in whole or in part. Overdub your own tracks to it. All I ask is that you add Mad Gravity Studio to your work as a contributor. I'd love to hear what you can do with it.
Unlike most of the sounds and rhythm tracks I've posted here, I've flagged this one as Attribution 4.0, so please read the info on this type of license if you're not familiar. Otherwise, have fun with it!
If you would like update info for new releases, please click FOLLOW, and I will message you when I post new material and it becomes available for download. I also promise I will only contact you about new releases, or in response to messages received. You will not be bombarded with B.S.
P.S.
If you prefer a different format of any of my tracks, message me and I will post it for you.

The whole sound is amazing, works perfectly for my project. I'm doing a podcast with a dark tone and I'm using this as an intro and outro. I'm new to all this world of sounds and podcasts, but luckily I'll manage to do it well.
