You can often see people playing African drums in the park on Sundays these days in Japan. The players I found on the day seemed to be really from some part of Africa. I love this kind of playing. Recorded with Sony MD Walkman and two omni-directional microphones.

I'm with everyone else - the directional effect is AMAZING. I was scrolling through many different African drum samples and came across this one. When I played it I jumped - I actually thought someone in my office at work was playing African drums (for a second, at least).
