This is a real 1960's Wandel & Goltermann electromechanical four-tone gong. Gongs like this were in use in the PA systems of German public buildings like schools and theaters to indicate begin and end of pauses. Recorded directly (no microphone) from its internal magnetic pickup. Four tones descending.
